All modules confirmed

Today again we had a meeting with our head of division. We got the final confirmation for all our modules and did our enrollment - finally. All other international students had done their enrollments on Monday so we felt a bit outsiders, especially because without enrollment we couldn't get out student ID´s. And without ID's we couldn't for example use the school's library or our DMU email. Right now we have only temporary ID's until they finish the real ones but once we get them, we're eligible for all student discount's at shops around the city. Some places offer 20% discount all the time!

So here is the module that starts on next Wednesday. The whole module content is very long so this is only a short version of it.

International Perspectives 1: Globalisation and Health

Global experience of health, well-being, diseases and poverty and the consequences of them particularly on children. Impact of conflict on refugee experience and the psychological well-being of children, character and causes of sex trafficking and other types of violence against women. Climate change and its consequences in the developed countries and in developing countries.

Assessment is through a portfolio which is on a relevant topic of interest.

Lectures take place on Wednesdays at 13.00-15.00. Other times we'll do group works or study independently.
